Letterkenny, the commercial centre of County Donegal, is a modern vibrant town with a rich cultural heritage.  It is the county's largest town with a population of 19,500.  Originally a market town serving a wide agricultural hinterland, Letterkenny has evolved to become a modern, cosmopoliton urban area.
